Beach of Pontal

Properly, the Ponta neighborhood has no beache beach. Unlike some edges of dark mud during low-tide, the only beach close to Pontal is theNova Brasília, a neighborhood district. Because of the size, the local people call “Prainha”. The point where the South Beach is also in Nova Brasilia. The beaches Morro de Pernambucano are amazingly beautiful. During low-tide the Concha Beach is a piece of paradise.

Beach Pontal / Nova Brasilia - 2 km

At the lowest part of the Morro de Pernambuco, and with a vision of Ilheus on the other side of the Rio Cachoeira, the location of Prainha is very beautiful. The presence of some bars, a restaurant and a burger hut nearby, leaves you wondering why this beach is not as popular as it should be.

Beach da Concha Morro de Pernambuco - 2 km

This piece of paradise is hidden behind the rocky Morro de Pernambuco. The place is well known by the locals, but is rarely visited by tourists. Urubu - Beach of South - 2 km
